Description

Summer 2004 on the Road loaded up with my camera. Sunny Day, a fun destination in mind. This taken with Olympus 1.5 Digital. Adobe Photoshop 2.

nice shot... but a bit low res. nice effect on the shades.
btw, Adobe Photoshop 2? u kiddin' me? LoL! i started using photoshop version 3 8 years ago!

thanks for the words, I had worked this photo for some time, and I liked it best when it became less natural, I worked alot of different effects. The picture in the shades is the way I see myself, always looking at the world!

Hi Lael ,

This is a really interesting composition, you might want to watch out for reflections though. I can see you holding the camera in the reflection of the shades. Kinda spoils it. It still works as a photo and it's different! Good Job.

I will use this area for a comment and thank you for the critiques. I see way too much of the camera in my hands as well, but first of all, I always forget just how BIG 640 pixels are. The picture is too large which makes it difficult to view and to get the overall feeling of it. Thank you for the responses.

I would crop off a bit on the left border so that it crops directly through the faces' symmetry axis. Except to that, maybe some sharpening on the hair could do it good.

Interesting point on the crop, and I see what you mean by the hair, much of it looks the same.
